It wasn't till the wee small hours of this morning, that it dawned on me (Did you see what I did there !) that she would be passing a lot further to the south as to avoid Manchester and Liverpool commercial traffic.

Yeah it said in today's newsletter they were flying from Coningsby to Leuchars then back to Robin Hood.

From yesterdays Trust News Byte

This year, XH558 will be departing RAF Coningsby transiting north, undertaking her display, then returning to base at Robin Hood Airport, since it is simply not financially viable for us to land.

It wouldn't surprise me if she hasn't done so already!!
Despite what a lot of folks think , her maj is quite patriotic, and supports around 1250 charities , either as a figurehead , or financially !
