Update today main additions- Ramstein herc and noggie Falcon 20 on static and 6 sqn Tiffie in flying.
Would be nice to see some more fast jets on static.

Yeah some good additions there Ian,but it would be nice to see some more fast jets for static,
maybe the norwegians might send a couple of F-16s,and hopefully we get a couple of F-15s from Lakenheath,whatever happened to the B-52?

A little bird up there told me that they have received a few requests that the Vulcan attends.

This issue has been discussed, at length, on another forum with many views both for and against the Vulcan.

From what I've been told, the overall majority were in favour of it's appearance!

Not been to Leuchars airshow before and I'm going on the train.

Can anyone advise how busy the station will be at the end of the show as I have a seat booked on a specific train (i.e. will there be a massive queue ?)

Went by train last year. There is a big queue, but it moves quite quickly. After the show last year we waited for the F3's to land then walked to the train station. We were back in the hotel in Dundee within an hour max.

You queue in different lines depending which direction you are travelling. Not sure how it will work with a pre booked seat. Might have to ask one of the staff on duty?

I'm due to be on nightshift over the weekend - but I managed to plead to the team and got someone to cover the Saturday night.

I missed last year cause of work - not even using "it's my birthday" as an excuse got anyone to cover.

It actually is my 21st birthday on the 10th - so if anyone fancies meeting me in the beer tent I'd happily let you buy me a pint!

Just bought my tickets there 80 pound for two adults and the son.He only four but bought a child ticket anyway as I know for a fact I would get asked where is his ticket even though it states child 5-15.

Going to be good no matter the line up of the show I started going here in 1983 when I was 4 with my dad and my grampa.Now this will be my son's first airshow and he is going with me (dad) and his grampa.So Thursday,Friday will be a photos day for me then on Saturday I shall be taking the son around all the statics and into the hangars and making the day all about him.

Anyone going on the Thursday and Friday give me a shout I am usually down on the beach end think in all the years I have been we have been at the road end about 3 or 4 times.

Getting refunded on child ticket contacted them after purchase and said they would sort the order out for me.Can not argue with that.
