I'm not aware of the RAF operating a farming equipment delivery service at the moment! :)

Had a couple of RNZAF P-3s and Kingair in the last couple of weeks, all been through whilst I was in the circuit with them though.

Even more annoyingly, I heard this coming and passed it off as one of the local sight-seeing helos. By the time it went past my window and I'd grabbed the camera, it was a bit too late...

Well I was erecting my tent at the time , and that (technically speaking,) was my home for a few days , therefore I was in my garden when I snapped these two up on high !!........

One of the rare times something interesting happens and I have a camera!
Hear fast jet, switch on camera then run outside and 'machinegun' it with said camera!

Here are a couple of recent captures over my garden.
I live out in rural Gloucestershire next to Bredon hill and get the odd low level flyby.Unfortunately, since the loss of the Harriers my trade has fallen away dramatically.
Favourites for me are without a doubt,Pumas and Hercs. At least with these I get some warning before I almost kill myself scrambling for the door!Tonkas......forget it.

Seen lifting off from the the hills as you go over the top of the M62 towards Manchester this afternoon was this Huey. Sorry for the heavy crop but thought it was worth posting. Never seen a Huey doing this kind of work in the UK and looks very much like the Vietnam one. Work on the side perhaps

2 from the last couple of days. Whenuapai is currently having work done to its runway so all base training is being done here. Luckily for me, it means I can walk round to the approach as they're sticking round for more than one go. I'll put those photos in a separate thread.

Try my place, we live pretty much just on the approach to 24 at Lakenheath, Hogs over last night and on a good night plenty of Eagles. Shame I didn't get the HH-60 the other night, very low and very impressive!

Heckington......... from Tornados to Hercs, Apaches and Chinooks. Very low and very fast, always over the end of the garden. Plus out the bedroom window you can see them circuit bashing Coningsby and in the distance Waddo but Waddo is in the distance and you'd need binoculars to see what they are

I would recommend anywhere in a straight line between Wragby on the A158 and Heckington on the A17 to see low aircraft over your garden and approach stuff into Waddo/CBY :thumb:
