It may be not set in stone yet but there has been an update Miss Demanour ( I think the spelling is correct), Vampire, Matardors, Catalina and apparently a certain XH558 will be appearing, all on both days,

Sunderland is on when the Reds have their 10 day mid season break, which is why they wont be attending.

Got to be honest, I found Sunderland very bad last year.

The crowds are horrendous and you cant move, the aircraft display too far away. Last year I had Nikon D300s, 300mm and 1.4 TC and the shots were very heavy crops which for me is not worth it.

However if Vulcan and some Jets attend and weather is good I may brave it, if weather is shoddy - forget bout it!

If it wasn't that the display line is so far away it would be a decent line up.

Wow a decent line up, but far less than in previous years. When I was still in the RAF we used to have many FJ's taking part, now only 2 RAF assets there

To avoid the crowd you go on the cliffs, yes the helciopters may be far away and yes quite a large part of the flying is done in the middle, but boy do you get close the F-16 last year you could clearly see the HUD as it came towards you, not to mention BBMF spitfires diving on top of you. It really does beat being stuck in the crowd.

Not been this year but been a couple of times before. I found that taking your own food and drink and sitting on the beach was the best thing to do. Not busy there because everybody else is queing outside the pubs  Or, one year I got a nice spot on the roof of an ice cream shop :D
