See following forums for locations on the west side of Windermere. It appears that the locations are a bit of a trek?

An Ordnance Survey map of the area will provide all the named locations, paths and tracks.

These mountain bikers viewed and photographed from Scale Ivy last year.

Latterbarrow is also mentioned.

The following has some grid references.

The following photographer imaged XH558 at Windermere in 2009. He has a contact link on his forum. He might provide you with the location and route?

I'm sure a kind forum member will provide all the details?

No problem, Stevo. The following video of the Vulcan is from 2009. Filmed from Scale Ivy Intake. See map link and details on the following forum link for Scale Ivy. The tree line appears to be a problem. There are probably better vantage points further north?
