They tend not to confirm their lineup till fairly close to the show.

It's usually the standard coastal show card (in fact Clacton, Southend and this one are fairly identical)

- Red Arrows, RAF trainers, Team Guinot, Blades, Red Bull air racer, and possibly a Hunter, maybe a warbird. (Although last year had the bonus of the Vulcan and a USAF Herc.)

But four hours flying for £2 isn't bad.

Only £2? That's great value. If anyone hears any snippets of participants please keep us in the picture. :)

It was last year anyway, as a voluntary contribution - some idiotic people actually had the cheek to complain about it.

Would be good if the BAF F-16 could make the show as is at Eastbourne on the same days.

Any progress with the Vulcan appearing at Lowestoft this year? Still nothing confirming an appearance on TVOC's website yet :( .

They are finding it a bit expensive but are trying to get it. The cost is £18,000 for 2 ten min displays and they are considering spending that money or a bit less on a few other a/c But it was mainly due to lack of funds from last year. If i find out anything i will let you know.

Thats a shame if they cant get 558, but that is a lot of money which needs to be spent wisely, so I can see where they're coming from with their thoughts.

I just hope we can have a display without any thunder storms this year, as for the last 2 years on the beach I've got bl@@dy soaked at some point during the day :( .

I think the Royal Navy Heritage Flight has been added to the display - not sure which aircraft, but hopefully it's the Sea Hawk.

Its a shame about 558, but if they did spend that amount on one aircraft then they probably would'nt have had much of a show to go and see. Lets hope the donations are a bit better for this year so they can get 558 back for 2012.
