These aren't from 'the Bush' at all! They have deployed from the States, probably as part of a rotational deployment supporting OEF or the situation in Libya as I believe they used Aviano as a fuel/nightstop only.

They are going to Al Asad in Iraq, this is the second rotation of Growlers to the region.

Marine Corps Prowlers are currently serving at Bagram for OEF operations.

Would the first deployment have been the VAQ-132 Growlers that staged through Lajes in November 2010.
