Re: Log for April,2011
4th April:
16:04 'Target 1' ZJ938/IPA6 took off on Runway 26, dry takeoff.
16:07 'Fighter 1' ZJ700/IPA5 took off also dry takeoff.
Target 1 did say I will have a 3 minute head start, not sure what they were doing.
IPA1/ZJ699 went Tech but I believe that was going to be 'Fighter 2'.
16:45 ZK119 (Pinky) came into the Circuit and performed some amazing aerobatic maneuvers, unfortunately their was low cloud.
17:30ish both Fighter 1 and Target 1 performed a nice run and break before landing.

Re: Log for April,2011
After a fairly wet morning on the Fylde arrived at Warton at 2.0pm the mound was completely full of vehicles. On the north
apron were 3 Typhoons. When I left at 4.0pm only the blue/white PC 9 had flown, with all the spotters present hopefully we
might get a log.

Re: Log for April,2011
Log for Thursday 7th.
Prior to my arrival at 13.30pm one of our local correspondents reported that at 12.45pm A Strikemaster with the same callsign landed at Warton it was due to fly this afternoon but cancelled at 15.00pm the regd he gave me was G.UVNR also
he mentioned that a Tornado coded 116 was also on the southside I found the Strikemaster which is clearly visible from the mound.
On the northside apron were the following Typhoons IPA 5 ZJ 700 later towed inside. Saudi Typhoon BS 76 ZK 083 first time
out so Im told also towed inside.
13.50pm OBI Formation T2 Hawks ZK 020 & ZK 036 left via R 26 enroute home plate.
15.20pm Tarnish 17 in 29 SQ Single seater Typhoon ZJ 915 coded BY reheat rotation from 08 into circuit and dive on photo corner and steep dry climbout to the west. On RTB did some fast GH over airfield. Landed deploying brake 16.15pm.
16.00 IPA 6 ZJ 938 reheat rotation off R 26 didnt quite get callsign apart from Mario no heroics straight in on RTB although
he did stream.
just after 16.00 Aeronaut 05 Cranfield Jetstream G.BWWW. landed + ARMY Air 923 Lynx for refuel.
I mentioned the GH over the Airfield wasnt bad, just have a look at this link below

Re: Log for April,2011
only two items of note for Fridays the 8th, April, 2011.
Tarnish 9 In Primer Saudi Typhoon BS 76 ZK 083 off on its first flight, dry rotation out on sortie RTB in about an hour did a long lazy straight in approach and landed
15.45pm The Strikemaster G.UVNR. rotated and headed west probably back to home plate.
The last few days have been pleasantly sunny with good lighting conditions, hopefully this fine weather will transfer to the
east coast where I will be next week.

Hi John & All,
1508-1509 I had 43C6CD as 7700E squawk - assuming that this follows the pattern of first flight checks - you think this is ZK083?
Cheers

Re: Log for April,2011
My visit to the East Coast was plaqued with road closures on Sun the 10th, I got held up by the A1 closures for removal of two
bridges and travelling home today (14th) I decided to go via Waddington over the Humber Bridge and that was
closed due to yet another accident. Typical look what I missed http://fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewt ... 16&t=31665" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I gave up and and went to Warton to see IPA 6 land the callsign I heard on someone else's radio was Tarnish One was this a correct callsign or did I miss hear.

Re: Log for April,2011
Popped to Warton for a couple of hours until the threatened rain eventually arrived. IPA 1 ZJ 699 was out on the north apron
and as I arrived a T1 Hawk was in the circuit but I didnt see it either land or depart.
Two items of note, because I couldnt delete a couple of threads I have renamed them "A bit High," "A bit low", enjoy.
