Today's 0735 path for the fuel train from Isle of Grain to Carlisle hasn't been activated. Presumably that means that there's no fuel travelling to Carlisle today for onward delivery to Prestwick tomorrow in time for the expiration of the NOTAM at 2359 tomorrow. Will they be getting fuel from another source or can we expect the NOTAM to be extended?

Just clocked this. Does this mean there are no military aircraft at Prestwick at the moment?

Not sure what the current status is but this morning
15-46068
Boeing KC-46A Pegasus
Landed as RCH215

I assume they have a arrangement for fuel.

A TOPS list for today indicates 66795 6E75 is on the system for Grain Oil Terminal to Doncaster Down Decoy - departure 1822 arrival 0248

If activated may this come north on Sat am or is it for somewhere else?

Fuel train is passing Dumfries so all being well the NOTAM will be withdrawn as planned and hopefully we can get an influx of military flights.

I ceased to be a train-spotter in August 1968; it's in recent years I've been "photter", but those days will come to an end when my next and last wet-film is taken to the Fuji-lab in Carlisle. As they say 'other labs are available', but I've always used Fuji since someone at the Kodak lab kept a couple of my slides of the B-52s passing over Warton Crag during a Giant Strike bombing competition.
Don't know what on Earth I'm to do with all my Airfete slides- many of them still in strips in envelopes from long-gone Berkley Studios. At least they're easier to clean than mounted ones with meths. Still can't find the time.
