Raptors Depart

Post by Richie B » Sat Jun 21, 2025 3:25 pm

Always nice to see Raptors in the UK even if it is only fleetingly.
These departed Lakenheath on 20 Jun in typical Coronet fashion with tanker issues, flight plan issues, not in the order intended and only 10 out of 12 eventually left.
Still, they did eventually leave (mostly) which is what everyone was waiting for.

First 4 were pretty unexciting straight ahead departures.

Smooth join up and off they went.

After a short delay the next 4 departed in style.

After a much longer delay the last 2 left in a similar fashion.

Not forgetting of course the support crews.

Worth getting up at stupid 'o' clock after all. :D
