Half hour ago (1300L) view of Chivenor from Midway Motors on B3233 and no sign of any aircraft on the airfield . This view gives whole of the airfield but at a slight distance . Chrisj

Aeronavale AS365N 810 arr. at exeter at 1455. Still there at 1630..

The 3 NH90'S went east at 1520, just north of exeter airport, "in line astern"

That was lucky, the day I almost, but didn't go to N.Devon.

Probably related in some way. Yesterday, the 4th, an aeronavle Xingu No 67 spent some time at exeter.

Did you (or anyone else) manage to catch a Callsign for it at all?

at 1425 F-XHUC c/s GUEPE hex 3B9B29 AS365 off the coast heading down towards Newquay or so . A look over to the beach around 1500 from Innstow and no aircraft in sight with three ships off shore - one had a Tiger on deck . Around 1800 Tigers BJJ & BJT from beach direction to Barnstaple or beyond and back to beach several times . View of beach and ships moving away towards Lundy or more . Chrisj

The exercise seems to have ended so I thought I would try to put together a list of helicopters seen / used and when and where . This is proving not as easy as I first thought . There are very few reports with serials and codes on every site I have viewed . If individuals have details could they please post them and this thread can be wrapped up ? The NH-90s are very elusive with , I think , only one report with any details although three were noted in formation over Exeter area at one time . From reports there are codes for the AS565s in the F-X*** range but so far I have failed to find any lists for them . Thank you to those that have contributed . Chrisj

This is what I have from my sightings, photos, images on various groups and messages:

French
AS.365 - 810 + 1 other (no ID)
NH90 - 1310/EAO, 1456/EBV, 1547/ECL
Tiger - 2011/BHM, 6010/BJJ, 6020/BJT, 6030/BKD

Italian
Merlin - MM81493/2-14

Hope this helps.
