14:23 eastbound over Northampton at 4750' USAF Herc showing as N352MJ on FR24. Apparently from and to Mildenhall via Fairford. I suspect just an MC-130J. Any details please?

Wouldn't be the first weapon integrated to C-130s!
More likely for next months BTF than for MC-130s

Joke dude. Serious posts don't contain a 'lol' smiley ;)

Quite aware that it was a dull jokey comment. And yes some things have been added to MC-130s. And as well as USMC KC-130Js getting Harvest Hawk (IIRC)

Aside from that Nighthawke, just a shame World Air Power Journal isn't going now, as well as IAPR and both probably rarer than JASSMs at Fairford. What am I on about? Well I worked on the former....

Is it mainly evenings?

So far all the action seems to be from 5pm onwards, so seems to be evenings/nights. I feel like I've seen somewhere (can't remember where now, potentially one of the FB sites so don't take this as gospel!) that the exercises are planned to be all evenings/after dark.

Sorry for this question, but I've been away last week and trying to catch up with what's happening at Fairford.

Reading the thread I can see that most (if not all activity) takes place in the evenings/overnight. So my question is really about what is at Fairford, I think it's three Osprey's, but I've also seen some chat/photos of C-130's (don't know how many) and a Wolfhound. Are they all visible during the day or are they hangared or just visiting at certain times?

Many thanks in advance

Is the exercise over as far as Fairford is concerned, or are the MC-130's and Ospreys expected back this week at all?
