Thanks for looking!
At a guess, all of these have been taken from the western end of the airfield on the north side of the runway. Hence some of the landing shots are back-lit as the sun hasn't got around far enough in the afternoon at this time of year and the head-on taxi-way shots are from the same spot with the Hornets being on the northern taxiway.johnwickenden wrote: ↑Mon Apr 07, 2025 5:38 pmGreat Shots Matt - you must have moved around the 'field to different vantage points a lot during the day !
Thank you! The farmer had been down in the morning and shuffled a few people around back to where he didn't mind people standing so I had been told, so everyone was nicely behaved and following his instructions as to where to, and where not to stand. And yes, they departed a little bit earlier than they had done on other sorties, so the light wasnt quite in the best position, which was a bit of a shameBilvo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 8:54 pmCracking set of images Matt, especially the Spanish![]()

It's a trek to get there and strictly on private (farmers) land, even if you are sticking to the edge of the field but hey ho.
