Does this mean that 'Fast Jets' will be using Fairford for the next month or so?
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

There's some info here suggesting Turkish F-16's but that remains to be seen, take a look at the various links too

From Keyaero article:

"According to the AIRCOM spokesperson, in addition to Leeuwarden and Eindhoven the following air bases will also provide and host significant airpower for the exercise: Skrydstrup in Denmark; Avord and Istres-Le Tubé in France; Husum, Geilenkirchen and Spangdahlem in Germany and RAF Coningsby, RAF Marham plus the US air bases at Lakeheath, Mildenhall and Fairford in the UK."

I Think the key phrase in this extract is - air bases which will provide and host significant airpower includes RAF Fairford. We will wait and see!!!!!

Husum! Wow, that's a blast from the past. Last heard of it in the 1990s when there were Alphajets (I think!) based there?

Are the rumours of the Turkish contingent of the exercise arriving on Monday (24/03) still just rumours?

I would imagine the daily movements thread in the heads up section would be your best bet.

OT. Maybe he's off to see Trump to put an offer in (again) for some F-35s build slots that may be coming free 😉.
