Thanks for sharing these with us, another iconic type sadly missed. I saw plenty of these in service, there was always talk of them being retired once the Alpha Jets were in service, but they seemed to carry on for nearly thirty years. It shows what a useful type it was.

Lovely distinctive little aircraft and some great shots here. Always nice to find one in a museum or preserved elsewhere - better still one in flying condition.

They were regulars, back in the day, at Coltishall’s At Home Day displays :)

Thanks for sharing these Michael,

A nice series of what I always thought was a funny (strange) little aircraft but in hindsight was part of the great variation we had back in those days.
