All I can simply say, is wow.

Tally-ho - other than basically saying he won on the grounds of the vote (well done by the way for stating the obvious!) you fail to mention any good he does. Of course you buy the fake news rhetoric too.

Cant see any actual legislation he has passed thus far that makes him so stupid as everyone claims...
Tariffs - which only hit the home market because the tariffs are paid by the importers to government and the costs are passed on to the (American) consumer who voted for him on the basis he would cut costs. Generally known as cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Attempting to pass on all sorts of sensitive data to Musk - who can of course be totally trusted to not put it all into his algorithms on X and whatever.
Your living on another planet if you didn't think he doesn't have it already....

And while the tariffs didn't nessacrily help, they did scare the living £#!& Out of certain eastern countries which can't ever be a bad thing.

Doing exactly what America has needed for a looooooooong time.

If someone could do that for the UK it would be brilliant.
Have you not read anything about what he is doing and plans to do?

- Blamed the FAA for the Potomac crash for "hiring mixed race and people without a great brain"
He was referring to the fact that faa hiring policies was deliberately turning down perfectly qualified people on something that had nothing to do with their talent or ability to operate, which may (granted, may have meant there were less controllers on duty due to, you guessed it, staff shortages.

- Getting rid of the Department of Education
Nothing wrong with that, seeing as it has left control of the schooling to the unions and was 100% focused on woke bs.

- Tariffs and trying to stronghold Canada in to becoming the 51st State
Tariffs are a power tool he will used to get the best for America on deals with Canada. Can't defend the 51 state stuff, I'll give you that!

- Threatening NATO partners
Throughout history, the US have frequently suddenly held a knife to the neck of their best allies to maintain their 'scariest world superpower' status.

- Moving to dismantle DEI
Good. You don't enter your ethnicity or gender or race into a fighter jet. It will kill you the same way every time. Hire the best people for the job. End of.

- Creating a literal concentration camp on Guantanamo bay (Yes, it can be called that by definition) for people
For terrorists. We can let them out if you want and watch the chaos.

- Pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement
Co2 emition locks had us industry in a choke hold. They've been taken off just so the industrys can breath.

- Allowing a brainless billionaire access to people's information and the finances - which is now being accused of accessing confidential data with Musk's "team" gaining access to administrative email accounts
My job is to look at this stuff. Your fooling yourself if you think they didn't have it already.

- Withdrawing from WHO
Scaremongering idiots who just do press releases they later have to withdraw on incorrect information ground.

Whilst they aren't yet "legislation" I am sure it won't take long for them to become that way. But sure, what a great leader, definitely what the UK needs
If it makes you feel any better, the democrats will probably be able to block them by the time they become bills

And you'll be glad to hear that's the last I'll say on the matter.

And what could have been an interesting and informed debate is brought to a shuddering halt! Sometimes makes you think the universal vote was a mistake.

But you've just told everyone to let it go? So contradiction? If people are going to stick their neck out and say something bold at least back it up with something.

I said people - and there's been some silly statements  - that people can't seem to actually give an argument for & against, like Iain said. A possible debate gone down the gutter.

I like him. The UK needs its own Trump, maybe Farage and Reform!
With his mad, bullying, and totally illegal scheme, to turn Gaza into a holiday resort Trump has effectively wrecked the already fragile peace process and signed the death warrant for thousands of of Palestinians, scores of Israeli soldiers and the hostages who are still alive.

His actions are totally mirroring the actions of the European settlers who "opened up the west" - murdering tens of thousands of Native Americans, stealing land lived on for thousands of years and bringing the American Bison close to extinction.

When Trump is angling for an invitation for a state visit I hope Starmer tells him to take a long, jerky walk off a short pier.

I'd like to be the guy behind him prodding him with a sharp stick towards the end of the pier. A disgusting excuse for a man, totally disrespectful of women, with the biggest narcissistic ego I have ever come across. Years ago, just before his first term, I 'e'mailed an American friend, as to why, in a country of some 600 odd million people, he and Hillary Clinton were the best choice to come up with. He replied 'Don't worry, he will never get elected'.

The other 265 million are the votes Trump tried to make up last time around .
