NATO Tiger Meet 2024 - Schleswig

Happy New Year all,

Another late post catching up on last year. The only days spent outside a base for the whole of 2024 were at Schleswig for NTM 2024. Lots of ladders about but we managed to find a decent enough spot during the Monday spotters day, exploring a few different spots outside the fence on the Tuesday. The weather was a bit changeable and unfortunately we didn't see the 51 Tigers special but it was still great to see a nice variety of aircraft and schemes.

Lovely set - thanks for posting. Pity the UK does not have a 'Tiger' Squadron now!

The UK. does have 'Tiger' Squadrons!
Sadly they're not fast-jet units & the likely chance of a UK. FJ. squadron such as #74 being stood-up again is frankly a pipe-dream!

The Flying Tigers of RNAS Culdrose from 814 Naval Air Squadron have not attended recent TM. Events with their Merlin helicopter.

#230 Squadron RAF have not attended recent TM. Events with their 'not long for this World' Puma helicopter.

#78 Squadron RAF (Lion Rampant) doesn't have aircraft assets.
Fingers-crossed for some fresh schemes at Beja TM-25.

I think 230 Squadron were down as 'observers' for NTM 2024, so I guess they were there in some capacity, just not with aircraft!
