Typhoons in LFA7?

Post by ben771820 » Tue Jan 07, 2025 1:21 pm

Does anyone know when Typhoons last used LFA7? I know they have been in NWMTA a fair bit over the past few months but non down low.
I might be wrong but I do not think any have been through since end of Oct/early Nov. Which seems odd given their frequency prior to that.

I photographed a 41TES bird on my last trip on 12th Nov. and don't recall mention of any Typhoons since.
Hadn't given it a thought until now......

Fairly sure the 35B has been through since then so not sure it’s another RAF issue/ban.
Fingers crossed they appear again, but does seem strange it’s been so long especially given how frequently they fly in LFA17.

Triplex x2 did the Usk valley Crickhowell-Brecon-Sennybridge . Wolf x2 & Cobra also in LFA7. I guess it's Wolf & Cobra that looped as Triplex pulled out North of Builth.
