Phabulous Phantom - Sariyar Low Fly

Post by A380_sully » Thu Nov 21, 2024 10:38 am

You may have heard a tale of low flying Phantoms in the foothills of the Turkish Köroğlu Mountain range, some may have seen the footage, some claim it to be CGI. I can confirm it was indeed fact, it will become folklore amongst the community, as it was THAT special! Here is a quick snippet from those I have had the opportunity to view on the PC..... More on my Flickr page, just click an image and take a look! Thanks

Wow.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

The weather gods could have been kinder, but considering the time of year, I think we got lucky. One week later the valley was blanketed in snow, which would have curtailed the whole thing, so I am thankful for the images I captured.

I wonder if the Greeks will try and 'outdo' their noisy neighbours this year in the low fly? :thumb:
