Thread tidied due to the number of single line posts made by a new member, which they could easily be included in one post.

Hi
A newbie here
I live 15 miles from RAF Fairford and would love to know of departures/arrivals
I live in Frampton Mansell and so if runway 9 is being used the aircraft fly in/out so beautifully low over my garden.
I've just been booted out of an Facebook page RAF Fairford Bombertown. The admins decided to have a cull and axe members that didn't contribute.
I would just like a heads up regarding deployments etc
My father was in the RAF and I was fortunate to live in Hong Kong
Thanks for reading x

Welcome.
One of the staff may well se this and advise further.
Hope you "hang in there" and enjoy the forum.
If you want to access all areas especially head-up then you will need to contribute. I'm not an admin/mod but it is either 10 or 15 "meaningful/useful" posts before you can. You may already know this from joining up but just wanted to advise you to avoid disappointent.kerryevans1 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 8:48 pm

I can always take a pic/video when a beautiful craft flies over - I hear them but by the time I hear them they have been and gone
I can drive over to FFD and take pics

Hello all,
New here to FC:)
My dad was in the fleet air arm so grew up around RNAS Culdrose and military aviation.
Now a keen LL spotter and spend plenty of time at airshows and in the LFAs.
Looking forward to contributing.

Good Evening all!
Andy here from South Gloucestershire. Loved aviation basically my whole life and still not bored!
Quite often around Fairford for all the action round there as there's always something to see.

Hi fellow Aviation Enthusiasts, I live in Bedfordshire, so spend a lot of time watching the old planes from Duxford and Shuttleworth. When i get a day off work i try and spend it around the local airfields, most of my military spotting is Lakenheath and Mildenhall as they are only an hour away occasionally venturing further afield to Marham Fairford and the Machloop (with not much success at the loop.)
This year has been busy for me with air shows including my first visit to Cosford & Riat, along with my regular visits to duxford for the Flying days and show.
While in this great Aviation community, we have around this great country i have met some great people with a wealth of knowledge and advice and hope to learn more for what i have heard to be a great community.
I am a passionate aviation photographer and hope to share some of my favourite images.
Hope to know some of you better in the coming times
Happy hunting

Welcome to FC, you have an interesting username, but what's a 'worrior' though?Lakenheathworrior wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2024 7:48 amHi fellow Aviation Enthusiasts, I live in Bedfordshire, so spend a lot of time watching the old planes from Duxford and Shuttleworth. Morning/afternoon/evening!
New kid on the block here, thanks for letting me join the club! Looking forward to getting to know you all in the near future. I’m a low fly nut mainly basing myself on the Welsh hills but venture up to the lakes occasionally too.

Hi everyone,
My name is Giovanni Padovani, I come from Ravenna, a city in northern Italy. I am currently a private pilot and student for the ATPL license. Besides that, I am also an aviation photographer, for several years. You can find some of my photos on the Instagram profile "pado_aviation" (there is also the link in my forum profile).
