Lens / camera body calibration

Post by LTFT5 » Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:22 pm

Hi to all,
I'm looking to having a couple of lenses calibrated to a single camera body.
Does anybody have experience of a company they would recommend to carry out the work?

All the best
Andy

your branded camera centre i.e canon, nikon etc will calibrate your equipment.

When I had DSLRs, I did them myself. Bought a cheap target off Ebay and set in the back garden. On one body, the 200-500 needed -3 adjustment but the other one needed -13. Zoom lenses were difficult as the body could only use one setting and sometimes a zoom needs different adjustment at different focal lengths. The Sigma software for their lenses allows different adjustments at a number of focal lengths as well as other customisable settings.
