Historic Helicopters - 11th October 2024

Post by johnwickenden » Mon Oct 14, 2024 2:32 pm

Was fortunate enough to be welcomed to the Chard Equestrian Centre last Friday and given permission by Andrew and Dave to have a good look around. Obviously, the choppers inside the hangars are a bit hemmed in - they are there to be worked on - not for public view.

Unfortunately, the Whirlwind and Wessex were just too tightly packed to get shots of.

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Interesting shots, thanks for sharing these with us. I also note that the Widgeon is tucked in there too. Not many of them about.
