Re: WAVE Facebook group
History and society in general are littered with individuals who, given a little power to offset a lack of something else in their lives, think they have deity status and can do exactly as they wish to whomever they so wish. In basic form they are just bullies and at the worst end they are dictators.

They're trying to turn it into their own little North Korea, everyone will have to have the same haircut soon and conscription will begin to join their little army.
Re: WAVE Facebook group
Next time I go to meet friends there I must remember not to give any polish cake my wife gets or they will think I’m selling it.

Does this mean that if I am parked in the WAVE and my brother turns up with a COSTA coffee for me, to save me driving out to get one, we would be breaching the rules if I were to accept the said coffee from him and give him a Kit Kat, as we would be exchanging goods?

All very silly really, Steve

EF-111
I hear the comments from some in the WAVE directed to those that put none WAVE purchases in their bins were a wee bit extreme also....

Re: WAVE Facebook group
All getting a bit boring this WAVE bashing, I think this is the 2nd thread. Remove them from your Faceache's or comment on their group (same thing), stop going to the WAVE, stop giving them money, have a good bitch at the MoD for giving them the lease, then move on with life. Sure as eggs is eggs the WAVE will be there long after their lease is up.

Re: WAVE Facebook group
Not sure it’s ’WAVE bashing’ just observation after observation. Can’t say I go to the WAVE much these days, never seems to be open for the good moves

Re: WAVE Facebook group
The WAVE posted 'no selling is permitted in the car park' after I handed over a book to a friend 2 weeks ago.
Today, the same WAVE person has posted 'Polish are in the car park selling merchandise today'
And they wonder why they get stick....

Re: WAVE Facebook group
This all sounds quite pathetic and childish to me, we will be in the area for a few days in a week or two and if nothing else this thread has warned us off visiting The Wave, pity really.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
Re: WAVE Facebook group
Maybe if they'd thought about this first and had written 'no selling is permitted in the car park without the prior permission of the WAVE staff' instead, then they wouldn't have broken their own rules and looked so stupid. But they don't think and make up rules as they go along to suit themselves.
Re: WAVE Facebook group
Not been since late September. Me an the other arf used to go very regularly but we kept ourselves to ourselves. We always used to purchase food and drink though, at least a couple of times a day. I don't suppose they will miss our buys but when relying on customers they shouldn't rock das boat. All a bit silly really.
