RAF Lakenheath & Mildenhall - 06/09/24

Post by Tonka 617 » Sun Sep 08, 2024 4:09 pm

A great morning at Lakenheath, sun shining and 06 in use. Followed by a quick dash over to Mildenhall to finish the day off to catch the Aviano's arriving

Excellent offering!

Really like the F-16 landing with the KC-135 in the background. A well thought out photo, or luck of the draw?

Either way, some cracking photos - thanks for sharing.

Thank you all, one of the best days I've had at the fence in a long time, the day started really foggy but cleared up lovely, plenty of vapour on the quick climbs!

Noticed a couple of them coming over the top of the KC-135 as the were landing, so was a shot I wanted. Nice to get the visitors and the home team in the frame
