Re: families day
Can anyone provide a list of serials of what attended? Sorry to be a pain, would like to see what was there
Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Re: families day
Here's some I have gleaned from friends photos (I couldn't attend this year)
Typhoons :-
ZK330
ZK429
F35:-
ZM152
Strikemaster:-
G-SOAF
Also tracked on ADS-B so take with a pinch of salt
FAF PC21 x 4:-
709FC
709FD
709FG (not sure about this none doing this from memory - will try and rack any departures today)
709FJ
Again from memory two routed through Boscombe Down on Wednesday and two through Mildenhall yesterday - but as they say don't quote me.
BAF F16
FA-72 (ADS-B)
FA-83(also ADS-B, took off with 72 but froze over Belgium so this one is a big assumption).
Hope this helps, many apologies for any inaccuracies
Mike.

Re: families day
Seems to be an increase in traffic this morning heading towards the NWMTA , much of it Mode A only [this is in addition to the FAF chaps ]
Mode A are identifying as fast jets.
Possibly families day related

Re: families day
Does anyone know what will be attending 2024 families day, I understand we have F16s, Typhoon display, red arrows and the raf falcons
Re: families day
Apparently the weather forecast is looking rough, so 350 squadron BAF won’t be attending now, according to their Facebook account

Re: families day
Official announced that the flying display element of Families Day has been cancelled due to the predicted bad weather. The organisers are still planning for activities on the ground to go ahead, including a display of static aircraft, cars and food vendors
Re: families day
Just checked the Red arrows schedule.
Still timed to arrive at Valley at 11:26 and depart to Odiham at 17:40 tomorrow (Thursday).
The schedule has been updated overnight with Sunday's timings added and no change for tomorrow.
I really expected them to fly directly to Odiham - things can still change of course.

Re: families day
Reds transit to Valley has been pulled.
First one that's showing now is Odiham to Blackpool on Friday, presumably a new route for Waddington to Odiham will appear soon.
