Hi all,

Image

is the mil serial for it going to be WT001 or will it be something else?

I would say that the serial will be something else. I think that WT001 equates to Wedge Tail 001, so it's the first conversion.

WT001 is the allocated serial number.

I see that WT001 hasn't been used before, so then OK. It's not the first time that an older serial number has been taken up, for instance GZ100 for a chopper.

Interesting, didn't realise older sequence serials are used for modern types. But even more interesting - boy, didn't we have a lot of Canberras....and Hunters!
Nice pic of the Wedgetail, btw!

The Protectors also have older sequence serials allocated.
