Shame about those Portuguese F-16’s , they were my highlight.
Portugese F-16's are your highlight? In a line up that includes Qatar and Saudi F-15's, Moroccan and Jordanian F-16's, Turkish and Greek F-4's, Spanish F-5's? Each to there own and all that.

B-1s are not listed to attend, unless the type is a ‘surprise item’ on the day, so I wouldn’t worry too much about then not turning up.

I would imagine you get more opportunity to see them over your side of the Atlantic than we do over here, anyway.

Considering the Portuguese F-16’s are one of the rarest F-16 Airshow attendees in Europe yes they did stand out amongst the usual European operators in static.

Overall highlight especially in flying would be trickier as it’s the German Typhoon solo or Qatar F-15QA that intrigues me the most.

No B-1s unless they arrive at the last minute.
You're from the US, so you can see them anytime.

Why can't people have their own personal highlights, just because you don't agree?? :S

Seems we are getting all four Qatari F15QA's

https://euro-sd.com/2024/07/major-news/ ... rnborough/
Well RIAT doesn't have them down as showing on static, but it would be nice.

It seems too they only fly 1 version a day, i.e. 1 fully armed, the next clean config etc. Shame we couldn't get both each day :D

Thread tidied (again!).

Not long to go now, so let’s all play nice, sit back and anticipate a good time in Gloucestershire.

See post from member "effects" for more F-15QA info:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=245451&p=1605273&hi ... A#p1605273

All four are now showing their Qatari serials and markings - two at Lakenheath and two at Mildenhall.

Bit unfair that. Especially considering there are parts of the US further apart than here to the US!

TBF they weren't showing the 3rd Spanish Harrier at any point last year either.

Agree with the demo, but unfortunately the reason for that is also the reason they are here. (Both pilots flying displays for 8 days in a row is a no-no)

Wonder if that means the KC-10 that was dragging them over has also Canx?

Shame - we've lost 4 F-16s this weekend, an ever shrinking Viper line.

The KC-10 isn't showing as cancelled, hopefully means that it will still come (I would have presumed they would add that to the cancellations with the Makos if so)

My maths isn't great, but I make that 19% of the F-16 static line gone in 24 hours.

Definitely gutting, but I think I still count 18 on static alone, might be wrong, still impressive.
