RIAT 2024 - Airfield Operational Hours

Evening all,

I hope this post finds you well and looking forward to RIAT.

I’m hoping someone can answer with the airfield’s operational hours (as in ATC operations rather than show ground hours) for the Thursday through to Monday over the show weekend?

My partner and I have FRIAT enclosure passes for the weekend and I’m trying to plan ahead so we can be there to catch all of the action.

NB - If you could provide the times in local time that would be appreciate to prevent any ambiguity

Im sure someone will have the correct answer but i think the airfield is normally open for movements between 9am-7pm. It may be 8am but like i say im sure someone will have the 100% correct answer.

It's been 09.00 - 19.00 (9am - 7pm) for the last couple of years. I'd expect the same this year, but I haven't seen it confirmed.

09.00 and 19.30 arrivals and departures and 09.00 and 19.00 on Saturday and Sunday, all local times according to the AIC

The airfield (and ATC) open at 08.00L on Monday for departures.
