I don't think it will be affecting their regular updates, bit of a silly statement. (Which is a regular in the RIAT thread).

Can't recall my day job ever being affected by an election. Everyone did what they were paid to do - work!

They haven't been for a couple of weeks.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread
This thread is far more entertaining even, than the lies and drivel on the British election threads, both on FC and UKAR
Keep it up, please

Cracking update by the RIAT Team at Bader house, Saudi F15 another standout visitor to these shores. I reckon there are a few more surprises in store!!
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread
I saw a patch on Ebay the other day for the 55th Wing and RC-135 at RIAT - haven't seen any USAF stuff announced yet, but perhaps that is a teaser.....?

Take it with a heap of salt…reminds me of a couple years ago of the B-1, B-2 & B-52 RIAT patch.

Yes, I'll wait and see.James Cutting wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2024 9:00 pmTake it with a heap of salt…reminds me of a couple years ago of the B-1, B-2 & B-52 RIAT patch.
B-1, B-2 and B-52 would have been quite a result! Sadly, I doubt we will see any this year unless a B-52H goes tech before the show. I'd love to see a static B-2 again one day - it's a shame we can't go back in time!
Ho-hum........

Would be good! Think all B-52's have RTB, but know the rumours floated of 2(?) Attending like last year (from PlanesTV video)

The Polish F-16 display at Leszno is unbelievable, they have hugely improved and he seriously flew this like he stole it! https://www.youtube.com/live/udjbpwx7Xp ... BX&t=16798 Exciting!
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread
Might look rather bland without the flares though..

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread
Saw the Polish F16 Demo at Malta last year incredibly punchy hopefully not too toned down at RIAT with different flying restrictions and no flares. The sneak pass is one to watch out for. Completely missed it in Malta.

Flares missing will be a shame but not the end of the world as you never expect them. Still if he flies it like that, and in afterburner for that long, happy days.

Really??? Assuming no Posts have been deleted, I see no 'nasty' comments? You can/maybe have reported the issue to the Moderating Team & they will/have sort it.
From the comments I can see, Forum Members have clearly & patiently explained the futility of agitation over when the USAF will commit something/anything to RIAT 2024.
