Nearly as many as the Scottish keeper did picking the ball out the net  forgot Kane was playing in the first half. Not much better in the 2nd. Although he was on the floor a lot

Funny meme doing the rounds :-

'Daddy when do Scotland kick off ?'

'Every 10 minutes son"

The Germans look very classy - lovely second goal against Hungary

Scotland 1-1 Switzerland at halftime

Sorry am I watching a different match - pundits saying Scotland are close to Switzerland

Switzerland although not great were all over Scotland who showed a lack of ambition in the first half - their best tactic is the old long ball for which the swiss defence looked quite shaky

Now the experts are saying Scotland will settle for a draw?

Excuse me but Switzerland won their previous match 3-1 and Scotland lost 5-1 so what, Scotland to beat Hungary 7-1?

Shaquri’s goal was a cracker but come on Scotland. From an earlier match I hope England don’t come up against Albania.

The 4 best third place teams qualify to the next round as well so a point tonight and a win against Hungary would be enough, but we’re nowhere near certain of a draw tonight, this game can go either way.

Scotland looking a lot better in the 2nd half

Missed opportunities for Scotland, again poor team selection in certain areas.

Take the point and now it’s do or die against Hungary.

Yep 1-1 at full time

Scotland were so much better in the second half - they are much better when playing in a more direct style

Before the match they said they would 'take the draw' but it is dangerous to preempt the outcome of your next match - Hungary will have something to say but 1-1 was a well earned draw against a dangerous Swiss side but will the 5-1 defeat come back and bite?

Should we get the win against Hungary then goal difference won’t or shouldn’t come into it.

Until your comment I didn't realize the four least worst losers went through - i guess the organizers have to try and protect the major football nations like England :)

60 minutes to go and the BBC coverage has already begun for Denmark vs England

Why is Stones giving a pre-match interview and answering negative questions from a picky media - just tell the TV to oh fudge off until after the match or send in a substitute?

England 1-0 after 18 minutes

Kane a goal made by Kyle Walker

So rather than enjoying the lead BBC commentator Guy Mowbray? asks "what happens next" inferring that England will sit back or go to sleep

Southgate needs to go. This whole trying to sit back on a one goal lead is pathetic.

As usual, nothing to indicate that England might be capable of actually winning this tournament.

Pundits starting to realise that Kane is a passenger.
