ROKAF F-4 Phantom retirement “Beyond legend!”

On Friday June the 7th 2024 the ROKAF held a decommissioning ceremony at Suwon Air Force Base for their F-4's. The Phantom protected South Korea for 55 years in three different versions (F-4D, RF-4C, F-4E). During an impressive ceremony the Minister of National Defence and many former and current F-4 pilots, WSO's, maintenance crews etc said farewell to the mighty Phantom. Two F-4E's from the 153rd flew a sortie during the impressive event which could be photographed during take off and on the taxitrack with canopies open. Goal achieved
