D Day DC3/C47's
D Day DC3/C47's
Reading in the aviation press that 5 DC3/C47's are due to fly over from the states for the D Day commemorations in May. They are starting their journey on the 18th May and stopping at Prestwick en route. Has anybody got any info of their arrival/ departure dates and times?

Re: D Day DC3/C47's
Thanks for the info guys. I think I can confirm that they will be at Prestwick on the 22nd, for no other reason than I have a hospital appointment that day.

Looking like they could be heading for Wick as the weather at PIK is poor tomorrow. Just need to watch flight radar and see what happens.
