Yes that is true about the update a few weeks ago but I suspect Soloturk will arrive on the Wednesday or the Thursday as they usually do a rehearsal before the show.jasonT1981 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 1:02 amBoth the F16 and Phantoms. A previous update said several F16s would arrive on Friday, so if the Turkish F16 is one of those arriving Friday, maybe the Phantoms are coming too on Friday.Red-Eye-Knight wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 11:19 pmI take it you mean hoping for a Friday arrival from the Phantoms?
All speculation and hope btw.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

The Polish armed forces have self confirmed with
AW-149 (S)
F-16 (D)

F-16 (D)

If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Old news I'm afraid Polish F-16 was discussed on this thread weeks ago but the AW-149 is new so hopefully that is true as would be great to see that as they just came into service last year I believe.Red Dragon wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 2:02 pmThe Polish armed forces have self confirmed with

I see Couteau Delta have been confirmed for Cosford Airshow, I wonder if they will appear at RIAT?
Would be great if the did as their displays in 2017 & 2018 were brilliant

Agreed but I doubt they'll do two shows in UK.

Does anyone know if the Jordanians have desert camouflage on their F16s?

A quick google of Jordan F-16 images says not. It really is that easy to do.red leader wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 8:27 amDoes anyone know if the Jordanians have desert camouflage on their F16s?

Thanks. That's a shame but still be good to see them. It would also be nice to see the Thunderbirds.

Just a shame that the Jordanian F-16's are either ex Dutch or Belgian!

For those who take numbers amongst us and may have seen them in their previous markings. Anyone who does not collect serials and/or registrations may not appreciate the significance.

Indeed. But there are some strange people who for some reason need to see an aircraft again when it has been repainted….
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread
I stopped taking serials when I started My apprenticeship in aerospace, you see one you may need. The next time you see it you totally ignore it’s there yet it’s probably 50% a different airframe.

Well I'm glad I managed to see them last time they came.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread
witje a lot of the aircraft is replaced during its lifetime, for example the hawks all had new rear fuselages 20 years ago to pro long life. All aircraft are the same
