Berkshire M4 motorway 18 April 2024

Post by Wrightc41 » Thu Apr 18, 2024 6:51 pm

Hi all

Whilst I was heading east long the M4 today near Reading I saw 2 x AH64 helicopters heading westbound at around 1230. I presume they are WAH64Ds probably from Wattisham but haven’t a clue where they were heading or their IDs.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Possibly ZM733 and 735 were operating as NEMESIS and routed Staverton - Wales around 2.30pm so that would tie in, unless it was a Middle Wallop pair

Were they on low-loaders being driven along the M4 or in the air?

Some Apaches were roaded out of Wattisham on Thursday morning.

Hi all

Sorry - I should have it made it clear that these were roadrunning on low loaders so presumably did originate from Wattisham as tommc mentioned above.
