Horny horner gone by Australia apparently. Must be struggling to find conspiracy elsewhere then?

Alan Permain quoted as saying the mini energy drinks team are deeply unhappy about Magnussens 'unsportsmanlike' driving, and will bring it up with the FIA at the next race so it doesn't happen again.
Horner gone by Australia, can I ask the source of this rumour, just interested?
Cheers
The Dutch journalist who broke the story originally is reporting it, I believe.

Saw it on Instagram IIRC, can't quote the site/OP as I tend to mutter a rude word whilst quickly passing anything that team related

You have to pay attention to the flags, radio failure is not uncommon. Team not telling her is a poor excuse. They can't just penalise the team and allow the result to stand when something as serious as this happens. Imagine if only teams got penalties, drivers would be cheating all over the place.
Very true, but IMO a financial penalty would have been a better punishment. It was a safety infringement, not a sporting one after all. The other drivers shouldn't benefit from something that didn't effect or have anything to do with them!

So Albon bins it in FP1 and writes his car off. Williams haven't brought enough spares to repair. He must be out then? Nope, he's now driving Logan Sargeants car for the rest of the weekend... Unbelievable, though kind of understandable.

Last sentence sounds like: it’s totally believable it is F1 after all

Good to see Sainz back after his recent appendix removal, and he still beat LeClerc in quali too.

Absoloutely, great to see him fighting fit, and Lando up there, but my god with RB, it is just so tedious, wouldn't be so bad if Verstappen had just an ounce of charisma.. :Wow:

Tedious? How the hell did you cope with Mercedes winning seven Championships on the bounce then? Now THAT was tedious! (and it would have been eight had a certain Mr Massi not broken the rules.)

As for Verstappen, I personally like the guy. He's just all about racing, and doesn't bring any other bs into F1, unlike a certain other driver. And his after race interviews aren't nearly as cringeworthy as that certain other driver either!

Well done Carlos, keep making Ferrari look dumb for turfing you out!

Some team is going to pick up a very good driver when he leaves; I wonder if Red Bull might go for him as a replacement for Perez?

Not a good day for Tutu and his boys, nil points.

Shame about the coverage, Sky presenters were clearly not at the track. Not a good look.
Nice to finally get a break from the usual predictability up front. Although it's a shame Sainz couldn't have fought for the win, however unlikely it would have been with the nature of the track and the energy drinks company's current form.
Also interesting to note how abysmal Sauber are doing this season, despite having the most striking car on the grid. And how no one notices!

Got to say its getting trickier by the day to believe Hamilton made the wrong decision to leave Mercedes. Though maybe a year or two too late.

C4 coverage similar, no Coulthard at the track, Steve Jones is a joke in my opinion and I'm sure one of the commentators said the locals were looking forward to Piastri being the first Australian to get on the podium in Australia, I'm sure someone will shoot me down but didn't Jack Brabham win in Australia.
Great to see a different result.

Not that I watch Ch4, but Coulthard was there, guess he just wasn't working. Same with Damon Hill, whilst he did a few pieces for Sky, I get the impression he wasn't on the clock.
Not a fan of Steve Jones either. Difficult to take him seriously knowing he also presents sex shows. And if I ever hear 'let's take a quick break' again...

And Ricciardo had a podium in Melbourne for a few hours

Read somewhere that Karoon Chandok, Naomi S. and Natalie P. were not going to be back at tracks until Miami in May although Rachel, Ted and Martin will be there all the time.

Good race it seemed from the highlights, hope Ferrari can mount more challenges (with a Red Bull on track) to make it more interesting.

Good to see Alonso's dirty tactic didn't work for him.

What about simple Simon Lazenby?
It doesn't say much considering its meant to be a premium package!

Asuming the inevitable appeal is unsuccessful.
