Red Arrows Work Up - updated 24th Feb

Post by reaper493 » Fri Jan 19, 2024 8:09 pm

Took advantage of the crisp winter light at every possibly opportunity this week, trying to scout out the best locations depending on the time of day.

There's been 5, 6 and 7 ships up until this morning, then we had the first two 8 ships of the year.

'Bondy' is definitely adding his own twist, and has brought back some older manoeuvres, one of which hasn't been flown since 1993.

Soon be back to the magical 9.

In the order taken.

Updated with some shots from the first two (and at this point only two) 9 ships of this round of winter training, from the 7th Feb.

First sortie of the day was Hanna, here Reds 6 & 8 hold at the end of the runway for 9 to catch up.
