A visit with base acces to the annual NATO competition Royal Flush 50 years ago produced a nice selection of reconnaisance aircraft of the participating Air Forces. Many photos because I found it difficult to make a selection.
Thanks Arnold, another superb selection of photos, plenty of variety amongst the classic types. I've really enjoyed viewing these and I'm not the only one.
Thanks Arnold,
Lovely photos of a great collection of aircraft types. I haven't previously seen photos of 2 sqn Phantoms with black and red, rather than black and white, squadron marks.
LH01.
What a series, excellent! Years before I was born, but would have loved to be there. The quality of the images (in all your posts) is very good. Despite the age, much of it way better than lots of stuff I made in the 90's. Well done, must be great memories.
Oh, Arnold....WHAT a collection of fantastic photographs, just wonderful. If only we could turn back the clock...
Many thanks for sharing (more please!!)
Hoi Arnold,
What a day that was. Must have been just in your early twenties?
I like the AR F4s photos, cause they have the warmest colours. But the UK F4s from 2sq with red coloir and all the others are super too.
