Revell/Fisher 1/32 Hunter T7

Post by PaulN » Tue Oct 10, 2023 1:13 pm

Hi

Not been on for a while but thought I would share this I finished last week

Its the Revell Hunter with the Fisher conversion for the T7 , it works very well , very little filling and filing , just a bit heavy as the nose is solid resin , but the conversion does include nice new metal u/c legs

Finished using Xtracolor enamels with Aero Master decals for the squadron markings , consisting of 8 43 and 1417 Flight , as used in Aden near the end of their service there

Thanks for looking

Paul

I had a look at the Fisher website, some really interesting products, shame they're not trading right now. Great work as ever.

They did some interesting bits , sadly after the fires in CA he wont be doing anymore as he lost everything , so if you see anything around you want grab it , there will be no more , luckily I have a few bits in my stash , another T7 a T8C and T8M along with cockpit and wing fold set for the Sea Fury.....one day

My brother has just bought the HK Models 1/32 Meteor F4, shame Fisher aren't trading, a 1/32 T7 would be really good. Have you got their Sea Fury? I reckon Airfix should do a 1/24 Sea Fury, and Swordfish.

Yes it would have been nice , as would the Skyraider conversions . No dont have his complete kit , he stopped making it after Hobby Craft bought theirs out , he just did a few updates , I have the cockpit set , which even he says on the instructions you cant see half of it once the fuselage halves are together  and the wing fold set , which is very nice

Excellent Paul. Love the Hunters. There was one up going circuits at Leuchars a couple of weeks ago. All I saw was the tail disappear into the distance…grrr
