Seville Airport 21 Sep

Post by jpickers56 » Thu Sep 21, 2023 7:05 pm

Noted on a Ryanair flight back to Stansted today were 9 x A400M on the south side of the Airbus facility and 4 C295M, of which one was EC-001 (special markings on tail) a C295W.

11 A400M were noted southside on Sunday 17th on arrival.

On the southside were 5 more C295's one being in yellow c/s presumably for Canada.

Also noted on northside was 1 x P3B and what looked like a C130 but could have been another P3B.

Also present with a fire tender in attendance was an EAV8B which looks to have diverted in with an issue.

Having no binoculars meant nothing read off unfortunately.

Any assistance with above would be most appreciated.

From a picture on Airliners.net it looks as though there are only 8 stored in Seville.

Thanks for the updates - most useful

"29502 Kazakh Border Guard"

Or :D

"TUDB502 Brunei 224" - is this all white with a red fin flash and a large serial on the fuselage - I think I saw this but the heat haze prevented identification

Yes. Red stripe is pretty standard for Border Guard aircraft in “Soviet” countries.

Thanks

After I read your report I thought we may have seen the Brunei casa instead as a white C295 with a large number ending in what looks like 02 was parked near a C295 with a Serbian flag ( looked like 29501 on the tail of the Serbian)

My first visit to Seville and I didn't do my homework unfortunately

The Brunei one is in a very dark camo.
The Serbians are light grey with the serial in black at the tip of the fin.
The Kazakh has the serial on the side of the fuselage, roughly where the “c/n paper” is located.
