These are wonderful, thanks for posting!
I looked at the Scramble database but 1973 isn't in, but 1975 list shows 50+ Mysteres amongst a lot of tasty types.
The gaps in the hangar doors are intriguing!

What a superb line up Arnold.
Tester F-104 is great as are the Vautour and Crusaders but the dayglo slapped Noratlas and the CEV Canberra steal it for me. Wonderful stuff.

Arnold, your trips down memory lane never disappoint. They were the best of times for photographing so many type that are now long gone.

Fantastic collection Arnold
I always loved the French aircraft and their squadron heraldry.
Had some great holidays in the 70's at Tours, Evreux , Chateudun, and Cognac but never got on base
Thanks again for posting

OMG again!
Your archives are incredible and a joy to behold.
They look like they were taken yesterday but of course we don't see aircraft like these in service anymore.
While I was cycling up to Heathrow on a Saturday morning you were out seeing proper aircraft like this.

Great photos of wonderful aircraft in far more attractive colour schemes than we see today.
My favourites have to be the F-8s and that Manching 104.
Thanks for posting these.

Fantastic pics - what a variety of types and colour schemes. Mouth-watering.

What an amazing airshow that must have been! The only B(I)8 modded French Canberra and factory fresh Jag and F1 again, most of the test a/c seem to be from CEAM though. And WTD dayglo'd German '104, incredible stuff...
