Model display

Post by viper3111 » Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:01 pm

We are currently working with Howard at Newark to do a small model display at cockpit fest on the 18/19th of june.

There is no theme apart from Fighter control builds, so if anyone is interested please PM me for info. It is still in the planning stage at the moment so all it will be for now is to register your interest. Then everyone who is on the list will be sent more info as I sort things out.

So if you are interested, please reply to this or PM me :thumb:

Sounds like a good idea, will you be inviting the top 3 from the modelling competition to attend and display the winning models?

Just a thought

If my Hunter for forthcoming 1/6 scale U2c project is at a suitable stage I will be happy to lend you a section (as the full models will be too big!)

Great idea Simon...

Think the A-10 would be too far out of reach by then and living in someone elses study! Would love to see the B-17 there though...

I also think Mr Fentiger needs to check out his diary as I am sure he will find that he has other engagements that weekend ....

I'd love to keep that A-10A to be honest but its been sold!

I'll bring along my Tamiya Spit, Raptor, Display Hawk, and if they are finished - the B-1, F-15E and Sea Vixen. There's always the AC-130 too, but it'll be work in progress.

All pending on my exam timetable of course.
