What’s the quote - “for want of a nail the shoe was lost, for want of a shoe the horse was lost, for want of a horse the kingdom was lost”.
A red bung (£100 maximum even at defence prices) was shoved too far into the intake, the pilot ( and others) obviously didn’t check it properly and £100 million ends up in the Med.
And what was that about the pilot noticing that pins were still in the undercarriage and had to remove them?
