Flying Legends practice day - 13 July 2023

As yesterday was a 'non work' day and the weather not looking too bad I popped across to Leeds East Airport (Church Fenton in old money...) to see some of the show arrivals and practices. The light and cloud were a bit tricky at times but here are a few from my visit. I left mid afternoon so missed some of the later arrivals.

I'm guessing you were one of the lucky people who got to watch the arrivals from the control tower. The girl who interviewed us for Warbird Workshop told me about that when I said that I might get over to watch the departures. In the event I did nt but have made a mental note for next year!

Yes, we were up there Mick. The young lady you spoke to was up there a few times on the Thursday with the cameraman. Very lucky to be able to have such a good vantage point.
