I find it quite annoying when people winge about special tails and then winge again when they don't bother. The av8 tails feature the cobra/viper which is what the av8b is named after. If you want boring grey aircraft, spend a couple of days at coningsby. Don't winge when these air forces make an effort/celebration of their participation.

The same people won’t be whinging about both paint schemes and lack of them will they?

Can’t beat greys, greens and browns for military aircraft. Most one off schemes are naff, tail- only ones aren’t too bad.

Italian is just the single I believe but no idea if that has any livery.

Should be two, the 2nd being a twin stick & the single seat will please a lot of people, except the ones who want a boring grey jet…

The funniest thing is most of the moaning is people unhappy that others don't like the same thing they do. A really odd approach to life, if you ask me!

Indeed it has I agree mate , but it’s one of the largest military air shows in the world and we are lucky to have it , I still watch a Cherokee 140 bashing a circuit in awe never mind a special tail Harrier so maybe that’s why I’m a happy enthusiast…. I’m glad of that than being eternally disappointed

I guess that the more vintage spotter has had a very diverse array of types etc , whilst the younger needs something extraordinary. Times have changed and the wanting to be the 1st with info has led our hobby into comedic times. Just enjoy the hobby and be grateful for what we see.

Therefore, as part of our sustainability drive, we have partnered with Hybrid Air Vehicles, the developer of Airlander, an aircraft that will deliver up to 90% reduction in emissions compared to current aircraft

It is expected that this new, innovative aircraft will be on display at RIAT 2027. We can't wait to see it!

Isn't it funny how those that whine about paint schemes are (strangely enough) probably the same people would also grumble if there were no special schemes and all aircraft were gray, brown and green. (Now even the brown and green are scarse)
