Pollard's Lane radio found
Pollard's Lane radio found
Up the top of the crash gate. Being retrieved by the couple house-sitting in the house on the left, opposite the horrible yappy dogs. Maybe clip it to your clothing next time, not the gate!
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
Nothing wrong with the dogs maybe some of the spotters should take there rubbish home with them.

Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
I was talking to someone last week who had lost a radio at Mildenhall but can't remember who ? Useless
Those dogs are ok and just doing what comes natural. There has been that type of dog in those houses for years - I remember one would snap at your wheels while you were driving off , how it didn't get run over I don't know!

Yes I remember them Dogs
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
I think my hearing must be more sensitive than some. I just can't understand why anyone would want that in their house. Give me a burglar alarm anyday. Not so aggressive.
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
They are probably the perfect quiet pets when they are indoors. They only don't like wandering spotters

25 years ago we knew the homestead on the right of the crashgate as the agricultural scrap-yard; they had Alsatians. Think one of the residents was called Steve. They used to let us use an upended trailer flatbed to shoot over the perifence. Suppose things/residents have changed since then.

. Those dogs are darn horrible, one of them bit me on the hand, drawing blood and needing a visit to a&e, and no l didn't put my hand over the fence, the dog went for me as l got out of the car, and hit the fence so hard that the fence stretched towards my hand, little bas*ard got a good kick in the face for its troubles, l hate themslogen51 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 5:11 pmI was talking to someone last week who had lost a radio at Mildenhall but can't remember who ? Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
Absolutely no excuse for kicking back!
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
It’s the doggies home they live there my dogs don’t like strangers coming near their home. If someone went to kick mine I’ll lose my ****.
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
It's the owner of the dogs that you should be taking your frustrations out on, the dog that bit you has been raised to be like that, which is not the dog's fault.
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
feel free, I have no regrets. I had to have antibiotics as a result of that bite, which in turn threw my heart out of rythm, and set me down a long road of ant-clotting etc, for a couple of years. So, fill yer boots
Re: Pollard's Lane radio found
I thought the dog bite was recent not two years ago.

Whilst a dog is protecting its property / owners and you are on their property it is fine for the dog to do what it thinks is right to protect them, but not on a public road (I don't think Pollards Lane is private but stand to be corrected). Dog owners should have control of their dogs in public places - I am a dog owner!
I had a similar experience Ray about 20 years ago (obviously not the same dogs but came from the same place). I walked down the lane and they came out onto the road and bit me in the back of my leg drawing blood resulting in a course of antibiotics. They were like wasps (also allergic to them!) the more you tried to get away from them the more they came after you! 'orrible dogs!
