I've just returned from a cruise and thought I would catch up on events around the UK.
As is so often the case, Prestwick attracts the most fabulous visitors and I am always compelled to comment on your excellent captures.
I really miss the European 'WR' and 'SP' Hogs from days well and truly gone and as usual, your pics are truly wonderful.
Thanks for sharing them for us all to enjoy
Best regards, Terry
Be the reason someone smiles today
Knew I could rely on you for some 'hog shots' Dougie ! Excellent as always....
Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?
Excellent captures They look so good in the grey scheme, latter days when they were based here was that 'Europe 1' dark green/grey scheme - truly awful to photograph.... but it wasn't for our benefit
On Coronet deployments from the 'olden days' they frequently carried two large wing mounted ferry tanks, clearly they can get away now with the single centre line.
I would suspect that most of these airframes are probably older than the pilots
