The one in the video is clearly 170066 and my info is that only one jet arrived there.

Quite a few online news sites say two were delivered.

The DVIDS story says "first F-35B Lightning II jet" and there's only one in the video on there. I agree with it being clearly 170066 though!

The various sources say the unit is receiving F-35 jets, not that multiple were delivered.

The comments on the first link above says...

HAVELOCK, Craven County — Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point welcomed the first two F-35 fighter planes to its base Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

MCAS Cherry Point had a ceremony to receive the two planes which will eventually lead to six squadrons of F-35s at the base.

I suspect that two were 'due' but only one made it. Regardless of which video you watch, you only ever see one jet and if the first pair had arrived, they would both be in picture for showcase purposes. Moreover, my source tells me that only one was delivered and as clearly shown by the pic above, it is 170066.

Which I suspect is a mis-ident for 170066 in the video!

EDIT: 100 percent, 170065 was NOT delivered yesterday.
