TaktLwG 33 visit - Norvenich, Germany.

Post by Lossie15 » Wed May 24, 2023 9:46 am

Hi everyone, hope you're all well.

Back in March, myself and Chris Melaisi were lucky enough to spend some time with the guys at TaktLwG33 and the mighty Tornado IDS. The squadron is currently on deployment to Norvenich Air base as their home base of Buchel undergoes major upgrades as part of the F35 programme.
With the winters sun shining, much Tornado action and our guide being very accomodating here's what the day had to offer. I can't tell you how fantastic it was getting up close to these beasts.

Enjoy!

Nice photos, and it's good to see the Luftwaffe grey leather jackets are still around.
