Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
Thanks
Just had another look at scramble where there is a more complete log
https://scramble.nl/community/messageboard/45/169822
They have the serial of the F-16 in the hangar opposite the spotters pen as 531 - I could see it but it was nose on so not readable from outside unless they saw it go in.
The missing RSAF serials are 9244 and 9254
Bumped into some spotters who saw the fourth HAF Rafale fly on the 27/4 , a twin stick and I have forgotten the serial!
The three HAF Rafale C that flew on the 26/4 were 450,451,452

I believe that the twin stick on the 27th was 401.
On the afternoon of the 25th 414 also flew with 450, 451 and 452. We also saw 453 at Tanagra that morning which was a result.

Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
670 is correct for the one at Andravida. I’ve sent Scramble. Correction.
Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
402 is correct, 68-0402.
339 65 years with the blue tail is 77-1744.

slogen51 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 29, 2023 5:04 pmIs there a list available of the WFU Phantoms stored on the other side of the runway opposite the tower at Andravida? I read a few off using the camera and just want to check they are correct :-
7496
71755
71758
71765
01512
01513
01517
01528
01618
?????? '339 65 years' blue tail
?????? Large white numbers on the tail - 402 or 462 obscured by vegetation - doesn't look like a serial

On the way back to Athens we noted at
Megara
CH-47 : 901 , 907, 914 , 921, 924, 926, 927, 928, 930
Plus 91? looks very like 915 but faded last digit also 923 was eyeballed but not in my photos
AB205 : 654
UH-1H : 601, 632, 658 plus another with a white serial 662 or 652 or 653 - photo not sharp
Kalamata
Active T-6 : 038, 044
WFU T-6 : 006, 008, 009, 013, 015, 025, 026, 031, 032, 035, 041, 042
( Possibly some of the tails did have props attached so not WFU?)
4398 AB-205 SAR
Plus a line of Buckeyes that we didn't stop for
Plus some preserved at Aigio, Tripolis , Agaleo , Mesolongi plus Athens suburbs where 2 Mir F.1 (107 , 134) and a F-5 (175) were noted
Thanks again to Foxy for the driving

Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
Thanks go out to the HAF for allowing spotters on base
That was my first Iniochos (Last year I went to Araxos which is just up the road, for the tiger meet) and it is fairly easy to do, the roads from Athens are very good with thanks no doubt to EU money. As I understand it this year was the first time they created an area of cut grass which would have been ideal for the morning sun if it hadn't been for the weather. For the afternoon movements you are bussed to the other side where there is a toilet and a BBQ.
I will definitely be going next year but I think it is more of a spotters day instead of purely being a photo day as some of the grass is quite long and gets into the photos but all in all a very good day. I really like southern Greece, great scenery, relaxed and good ( usually) weather.

Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
Does anyone on here have a list of the 8 Italian Tornados visible on the first spotters day - I only have six serials so far?
Thanks
There were 8 Italian Tornados that could be seen but I only read 6 :-
MM7014/6-13
MM7030/6-73
MM7051/6-72
MM7064/6-24
MM7065/6-43
MM7067/6-41
Plus two more
Thanks

6-43 had 65 on the NWD but the serial on the fin looked like MM7066 from photos. Could you check your photos pleaseslogen51 wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 7:48 amDoes anyone on here have a list of the 8 Italian Tornados visible on the first spotters day - I only have six serials so far?

Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
Will do - mm7065 was the only one I needed ! It was a late arrival so only saw it land , don't think I saw the nose wheel door side
Re: Iniochos 2023 - Andravida
Confirmed from photograph that 6-43 is MM7066 and what appears to be '65 is on the NWD. On closer inspection it could be a faded bit of painting but definitely MM7066 on the fin.paul simmons wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 10:08 am6-43 had 65 on the NWD but the serial on the fin looked like MM7066 from photos. Sorry about that, haven't checked my photo yet but it sounds like I misread the only tornado I wanted!
