Iniochos 2023 - Very Pic Heavy

Some crops from Andravida - The morning weather started overcast but then it changed to rain. From mid day we were all taken to the other side for the afternoon activity and the weather gradually improved to become a very pleasant afternoon.

Definitely worth the trip - I made 10 HAF F-16 ! three Greek Rafale and plus 5 phantoms including 4 stored over the other side which became readable as the sun went over

The phantom that came back early was 01522 (not 01503 as indicated above ) I didn't notice myself but apparently it deposited the drag chute on the runway during the take off!

In 1982 my mates and I spent a week in Greece. No cameras but we did a lot of touring the bases. Megara was one and was always interesting. In those days it was AB205/UH-1Hs, OH-58/AB206s, CH-47s and U-17s. On one occasion a Norrie trundled overhead and depisited paratroopers on the airfield. A lovely sight! Also, at Tanagra we were having lunch while co-incidently parked under the flightpath, and the local rozzers came by and checked us over .... that was squeaky bum time too! WE'd ljust had a tour of the HAI facility and so blagged our way out of it.
